Over the last few months we have received several DMCA takedown requests from many of our datacenter partners in the United States. Our Terms of Service have constantly been broken by using our VPN for illegal/pirated content along with circumventing our P2P filtering for this type of data.
We have also lost a large portion of our clients and investors due to the many and ever-evolving financial difficulties brought upon by global events.
As a small NPO and really just myself running this venture (on top of a 60 hour/week job), I unfortunately cannot maintain this service at the level of quality I expect, nor do I have the funds for any potential legal requests that are being positioned.
At this point in time, shutting down Metahuman VPN is the only logical choice.
Our endpoints will be scrubbed and shutdown starting today Sept. 19th to meet the requests and contractual agreements of our DC partners. Refunds for remaining credit and subscriptions will be processed starting tomorrow, Sept. 20th 2021.
You may also log in to the Client Portal through the end of October to chat with support, etc. We plan on releasing our custom tools developed for the platform in the near future as well.
